Gulfport's Get Rescued

On Saturday, February 27, 2027, the sun-drenched streets of Beach Boulevard S. will transform into a haven of hope and wagging tails. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the 23rd Annual Gulfport’s Get Rescued Animal Rescue Festival & Fun-raiser returns, inviting the community to turn compassion into action for animals in need.

This isn’t just a festival; it’s a lifeline. For over two decades, Get Rescued has served as one of the largest animal rescue events in the state, dedicated to finding "forever homes" for pets who have been overlooked and providing a vital platform for the heroes who save them.

• The Rescue Village: Meet representatives and adoptable pets from up to 50 animal rescue groups, each sharing the stories of animals waiting for a fresh start.
• The Florida Wiener Dog Derby: Experience the high-energy joy of this fan-favorite race, celebrating the spirit and speed of our dachshund friends.
• Pet-Centric Marketplace: Shop from local vendors offering unique crafts, artwork, and "curious treats" designed specifically for animal lovers.
• Education & Demos: Learn from the best with professional animal training demonstrations and pet care workshops.
• Fun-raising Raffles: Every ticket purchased goes directly toward helping participating rescues continue their life-saving work.
