The Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Gulfport present "Aquamania!" -- a day of music, entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, a kids' area, beer and wine, and water-themed games, rides and contests.
Register by June 13 to participate in the following events:
- Recycle Regatta (build your own boat)
- Kayak race from the Casino to the beach by the point
- Stand-up paddle board race from the Casino to the beach by the point
- Bartender beach race (sprints in flip-flops while carrying a mock pina colada on a tray)
- Cornhole Tournament
- Potato-sack race
- Badminton
Other expected events include a water-balloon toss, a doggie beach-wear contest, a dunk tank featuring local celebrities, and a performance at 6pm by the Urban Gypsies.
