The Boca Ciega High School Pirate Players will present the rock musical Little Shop of Horrors May 12-14 at 7:00pm in the main auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students & $10 for adults.
Little Shop of Horrors is an affectionate rock-n-roll spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies that will have you laughing and dancing in your seats. The musical revolves around nerdy Seymour Krelborn who loves two things: his beautiful co-worker named Audrey (who is dating a cruel dentist) and unusual plants. As a down-and-out Skid Row floral assistant, he never dreams that discovering an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood could turn him into an overnight sensation; Seymour quickly realizes the plant, named Audrey II, has a deadly intent and he must try to stop it before it is too late! The show includes such popular songs as "Feed Me (Git it!),” "Somewhere That's Green," and "Suddenly, Seymour".
