City of Gulfport's 4th of July Celebration

The City of Gulfport hosts its 4th of July celebration all day long in the city’s downtown waterfront district, with a free open-air trolley running from 4pm to 11pm to pick up passengers from remote parking spots such as the library, Chase Park, Senior Center, Hoyt Field, and recreation center. (See attached .PDF file for the trolley route.)

Here’s the schedule of events:

8am to 11am: Children’s Fishing Derby, Recreation Center Seawall (registration starts at 7:30am)
10am to Noon: Sand Sculpture Contest, Gulfport Beach (registration starts at 9:30am)
10am to 4pm: Auto Show, Beach Boulevard South toward 54th Street South
Noon to 6pm: Kidzone! Kid-friendly activities on Gulfport Beach
4pm to 10pm: Food, arts, and crafts vendors in the Downtown Waterfront District
5pm to 10pm: Live music from Bobby and the Rockets, Outdoor Casino Event Stage
6pm: Community parade on Beach Boulevard to the Gulfport Casino
9pm: Fireworks off Gulfport Beach along Shore Boulevard South
