Are you, your family, group of friends or organization looking for a great event to volunteer at while enjoying the great outdoors?
The City of Gulfport will be hosting the bi-annual Great American Cleanup on Saturday, March 17th from 9 a.m. to noon at Clam Bayou Nature Park (49th St. S. to 29th Ave. S. east to Miriam St.) in Gulfport. It is only a few hours of a helping hand in your community towards keeping the waterways beautiful. You can support either by land or by water and launch your own kayaks or canoes into Clam Bayou.
Please sign in at the volunteer tent the day of the event to get your supplies. The City of Gulfport staff will be on hand with supplies and lunch for all dedicated volunteers will be provided.
