Giant Book Sale!

The sale will offer interests for everyone including adults, young adults, teens, children, fiction, non-fiction, hard cover, paperback, electronic books, cookbooks, gardening, self-help, travel, rare and collectables and much, much, more! Our budget-friendly prices will range from 25 cents to $5 and up for “better books”. 
 
During the book sale, Friends will host a variety of fun Library activities, including Library Tours (11am and 1pm), a scavenger hunt, book signings from various authors, refreshments and a membership drive. Receive a FREE Book voucher when you sign up for a “Friends Membership" on the day of the sale. Annual membership is only $10 for Individual, $5 for student and $75 for businesses. Gift membership is also available for the sum of your choice. 
 
You will be amazed by how much there is to see and do at the Gulfport Public Library!  They are recently up to date with 10 brand new computers and offer one-on-one computer instruction by appointment. Regular meetings and programs take place on an ongoing basis, including Creative Short Story Writers, Free Thinkers open AA, AARP Tax Services, Relay for Life Team meetings, Scrapbookers Club for Teens and Adults, Coffee/Talk and Book Discussions, Book signings and more. All meetings and programs are free and opened to the public.
 
The Friends of the Gulfport Library has been recently revitalized for the purpose of advancing the goals and enriching the resources of the Gulfport Public Library. The Friends’ support for the library includes supplementing the budget for the purchase of special materials and the funding and planning for various programs for enrichment throughout the year.
