Household Electronics & Chemical Waste Disposal

Do you have an old TV or computer monitor that you want to toss? How about some old motor oil in the garage? Bring any of the following household electronics and chemicals you'd like to jettison to this location today for safe disposal. Keep products in original, labeled containers if possible -- do not mix chemicals.

Here's what's OK to bring:

CHEMICALS: Automotive fluids, batteries (household or vehicle), cleaners, cooking oil, fertilizers, fluorescent bulbs and other mercury containing devices, fuels (i.e. gasoline, kerosene), fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, motor oil, paint (latex or oil), paint remover, paint thinner, pesticides, pool chemicals, smoke detectors, solvents, wood preservatives.

ELECTRONICS: Camcorders, CD players, cell phones or smartphones, computers and/or peripherals, copiers, digital cameras, DVD players, fax machines, GPS units, marine depth finders, microwave ovens, pagers, portable players (i.e. MP3, iPod), printer or toner cartridges, radios, stereo equipment, telephones, TVs, VCRs, and video game players.

DO NOT BRING:

Appliances, biological or infectious waste, empty paint
cans, explosives, fire extinguishers, garbage, gas
cyclinders larger than one pound (i.e., propane tanks),
medicine, radioactive waste, or tires.
