Looking for something unique and fun to do this Memorial Day weekend? Join So49 for the inaugural SoStudio Tour 2011, Saturday, May 28, 5 to 8 pm. This roving studio tour features the artwork and studio spaces of five artists in Gulfport and St. Petersburg, plus a collection of artists and their work exhibited at several other locations in the neighborhood. First stop is a community exhibit at The Longhouse. There you'll pick up the brochure, map, and wristband. Each venue will highlight the artist's work and creative space, and provide light refreshments from local restaurants and sponsors. Artist studios featured on the tour include Nancy Cervenka, Barbara Nicolazzo, Clinton Stone, Frank Strunk III, and Monica Watson. Other artists include Patsi Aguero, Cheryll Grogan, Marian Krauthamer, Keith Stillwagon, and more.
