The 17th Annual Gulfport Springfest Street Festival celebration is planned for Saturday, April 16th from 10 am to 8 pm along historic Beach Boulevard in the heart of the City's quaint and charming downtown. The event is co-produced by the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce and the City of Gulfport. The Spring Fest event is free to the public and dozens of vendors featuring a wide variety of arts and crafts have already signed up to participate. Local and area restaurants are scheduled to join with other food vendors offering an array of culinary delights to enjoy. Live professional entertainment is scheduled to perform on stage all day at the corner of Beach Boulevard and Shore Drive, directly in front of the landmark Gulfport Casino and Ballroom. A children's area will provide activities for the kids, and there will be an Easter bonnet parade and hat contest in the afternoon. Additionally, other venues downtown such as the Art Village Courtyard will also feature music and Live demonstrations at the Industrial Arts Center. Free parking is available in and around downtown and the City's historic Trolley will offer free rides giving access to more remote parking locations.
