Family, Friends, Faculty Celebrate Boca Ciega Class of 2011

Thousands filed into Tropicana Field Saturday to honor and celebrate with Boca Ciega’s High School Class of 2001.

Andy Bolin, Boca Ciega Class of 1995, a prominent area lawyer, was the keynote speaker and emphasized doing small things as small things provide the biggest impact in others’ lives.

The crowd was raucous, packing the lower bowl along the third baseline, and gave the graduates a standing ovation as they filed into the stadium’s infield as the state was located in short left field. The entire ceremony was broadcast of the stadium’s JumboTron.

As the graduates took their seats, the stood, faced the crowd and wave and acknowledged their family members and friends in the crowd. Some could barely contain their excitement.
