What do you like about your job?

"I like that my job is the same but different every day."

What do you dislike about your job?

"The fact that my profession does not get recognized as a profession."

What inspired you to become a communications officer?

"It happened on accident. I stumbled into it. I saw they were hiring and here we are 15 years later."

What do you like about Gulfport?

"I like that it's unique. It's in it's own little world. If you don't have to go work [outside the city] you don't have to leave. Everything you need is all right here."

What do you want the general public to know about the Gulfport Police Department Communications Center?

"I want people to know that we genuinely care about the city. We care about the problems and we want to make a difference."
