Cheap gas: It won't be tough finding cheap has in Gulfport today. GasBuddy.com lists three stations having the cheapest gas in town. Gulfport Super Gas, 2201 49th St., Sunoco at 5150 Gulfport Blvd., and Liberty at 5227 Gulfport Blvd. each has unleaded gas for $3.05 a gallon.

Fireworks: What Independence Day celebration would be complete without a fireworks display? Gulfport's begins at 9 p.m. on the downtown waterfront.
Parade: The City of Gulfport will have it's Fourth of July community parade beginning at 6 p.m. the parade will march south on Beach Blvd. and when it hits the Gulfport Casino, will turn right (west) and continue down Shore Blvd.

Parking: The city will offer the trolley has a shuttle from various parking spots in the city. Those parking lots include library (5501 28th Ave.), the Senior Center and Theater (5501 27th Ave.), Hoyt Field (2306 56th St.), Chase Park (2800 54th St.) and Ted Phillips Wood Ibis Park (2800 58th St.).
