Oktoberfest

• Where: Most Holy Name of Jesus Church Maria Center, 5800 15th Ave S. Gulfport
• When: Thursday (Oct. 20) and (Friday Oct. 21) 6 - 11 p.m. and Saturday Oct. (22) Sunday (Oct. 23) 1 - 10 p.m.
• Why go: This fall festival has been an annual event in Gulfport for more than 30 years. Enjoy rides, games, food, drinks, dancing and entertainment nightly.
• Price: Free (food & rides additional)

Salsa Dance & Lessons

• Where: Gulfport Casino Ballroom, 5500 Shore Blvd S. Gulfport
• When: Thursday, Oct. 20
• Time: 7 p.m.
• Why go: Dance lessons with Carol Rivera are from 7 - 8 p.m. with general Salsa dancing at 8 p.m.
• Price: $7 per person

FRIDAY

Haunted Winery

• Where: Florida Orange Groves Winery, 1500 Pasadena Ave. S Pasadena
• When: Friday, Oct. 21 & Saturday (Oct. 22)
• Time: 6 - 8:30 p.m.
• Why go: Come out for hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, wine tastings and spooky staff at the winery. Must be 21 years of age or older. People are encouraged to reserve a spot, the winery can only "consume . . . ooops, sorry . . . I meant "accommodate" about 100 souls each evening." - according to their website. Gulfport Merchants Waterfront Social

• Where: Gulfport Casino Ballroom, 5500 Shore Blvd. S. Gulfport
• When: Friday, Oct. 21
• Time: 5 - 8 p.m.
• Why go: The Gulfport Merchants want to say 'thank you' to residents and visitors for their support. Come enjoy live music, a cash bar, local specials, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages, and Gulfport artists exhibits at the event.
• Price: Free (cash bar)

The Hollow and Midway Massacre

• Where: 5600 Newton Ave S, Gulfport
• When: Friday, Oct. 21 & Saturday, Oct. 22
• Time: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.
• Why go: Come and spend $2 per haunted house to help benefit the Gulfport Little Leage and Gulfport Fire Explorers Post 945. No one under 13 will be admitted without a parent or adult. In addition to admission, please bring new and gently used children's books for The Christmas Toy Workshop of St. Pete.
• Price: $2 per person per house

SATURDAY

The Stick Martin Show

• Where: The Blueberry Patch, 4923 20th Ave S. Gulfport
• When: Saturday, Oct. 22
• Time: 8 - 11 p.m.
• Why go: Come relax, dance and listen to live music at The Blueberry Patch. Everyone is invited.
• Price: Pay $5 upon entry at each event or volunteer your time during our Saturday Volunteer Days.

Ballroom Dancing

• Why go: Ballroom dance lessons begin at 6 p.m. with a dance at 7 p.m.
