Third Saturday Art Walk

• When: Saturday, August 20th
• Time: 6 - 10 p.m.
• Where: Downtown Gulfport
• Why go: Preview and purchase the work of over 50 artists and crafters, as well as authors, antique dealers and entertainers stretched over a half-mile up and down scenic Beach Boulevard.
• Price: Free

Live Music: Eagle's Head

• When: Saturday, August 20th
• Time: 7 p.m.
• Where: Bayboro Cafe on the USF campus
• Why go: Relax with the sounds of this unique musical trio.
• Price: Free

Build A Giant Gecko Dragon

• When: Saturday, August 20th
• Time: 1 - 4 p.m.
• Where: City of Imagination/Gulfport Arts Center
• Why go: Come meet GILLY GECKO. Looking for KIDS OF ALL AGES with FUN CREATIVE IDEAS to build a fabric GIANT GECKO DRAGON. Need newspapers, sparkles, colorful fabrics, jewels, ribbons, and, like we said, FUN CREATIVE IDEAS. CHILDREN UNDER 12 must be accompanied by an adult. FREE. Community project sponsored by City of Imagination and 1st Florida Frontiers.

"Super Special Saturday": Family Day at the Museum of Fine Arts

• When: Saturday, August 20th
• Time: 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• Where: Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Dr. NE, St. Petersburg, FL 
• Why go: Go on a treasure hunt through the museum; handle related, contemporary objects; watch an imaginative performance; and create art in the MFA's classrooms inspired by works in the collection and special exhibitions. Included with regular admission price.
• Price: Free with regular admission of $17 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $10 for youth ages 7 to 18. Free admission for museum members.

3rd Annual "Picture This" Photography Showcase and Fashion Party

• When: Saturday, August, 20th
• Time: 8 p.m.
• Where: ARTpool Gallery, 919 1st Ave N, St Petersburg, FL 
• Why go: ARTpool Gallery presents its third-annual photography show and fashion show with couture clothing made from vintage photos. Complimentary food and beverages. Runway show at 10pm.
