Why go: Preview and purchase the work of over 50 artists and crafters, as well as authors, antique dealers and entertainers stretched over a half-mile up and down scenic Beach Boulevard.

Why go: The entire event benefits Wounded Warriors in the area. The event includes food such as smoked pork, hamburgers, hot dogs and more. There will be entertainment, games, face painting and a bounce house for the kids.

Sri Lanka Drumming & Dance Concert for World Peace
Where: Catherine A. Hickman Theater, 5501 27th Ave S., Gulfport
When: Sunday, August 7
Time: 7 p.m.
Why go: Enjoy a concert from the Pancha Thurya Drum and Dance Troupe of Boston, which promotes the traditional drums, dances and costumes of Sri Lanka while including a fusion of Latin and African sounds. Proceeds benefit the Dhamma Wheel Meditation Society.
