What encouraged/inspired you to start volunteering?

"I love the library. I love reading. Every school I attended, I always went to the library."

What do you like about volunteering?

Giving back to the community.

How often do you volunteer?

About once a week.

What keeps you interested in volunteering?

"The books, the people. Everyone here is so friendly. They are really, good people to be around and escape from the busy life. I love to hide away with all these books. They are like an adventure to the world around; places I can get to, my mind can take me there (through reading)."

What do you like about Gulfport?

"It is a very, friendly, cozy, historical city. It's so pretty. I like the beach and casino area."

How can the public help your organization?

"Come and explore the library. See everything it has to offer. There's so much knowledge and people of all ages."
