How long have you been volunteering?

For around six years at different areas.
What encouraged/inspired you to start volunteering?
"I knew a lot of people who came to the Senior Center and just finding some things to do."
What do you like about volunteering?
"Working with the people, meeting new people and telling stories. What happens at the Senior Center stays at the Senior Center."
How often do you volunteer?
“I volunteer at the Senior Center Monday afternoons 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.”
What keeps you interested in volunteering?
"I always worked. When I came to Florida, I needed something to do Also, there's just so much going on with how the Senior Center helps out. I'm honored to be a part of it."
What do you like about Gulfport?
"My brother lives here and I'm familiar with the area. I'm really happy with being in Gulfport and have spent ten years here and hope to spend a lot more."
How can the public help your organization?
"Right now, donations will help a lot. There's a food drive right now to help the Senior Center since they help a lot of people.”
