How long have you been volunteering?

 Three years at the library

What encouraged/inspired you to start volunteering?

"I had free time and I like to keep busy. Also, it's great exercise. The books are heavy and I lift, reach, stretch, bend. I like it."

What do you like about volunteering?

"It makes me feel good and they appreciate me"

How often do you volunteer?

"I work here three mornings a week. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday"

What keeps you interested in volunteering?

"I like books and I love to read but I don't read on volunteer time."

What do you like about Gulfport?

"It's charming. It's very artsy. It's low-key. It's not as touristy as the other places my friends go."

How can the public help your organization? 

"They have to come and ask how they can help. That's what I did. I came in and asked if they needed any help."
