Gulfport Players Hosting Community Christmas Party

Gulfport Players Hosting Party to Benefit "Operation Santa"

The Gulfport Community Players are hosting the First Annual Gulfport Community Christmas Party, Saturday, December 6 with 100% of proceeds benefiting “Operation Santa.”

The evening of sparkling entertainment, food and libations kicks off with a “Holiday Happy Hour” featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, soft drinks and a cash bar (beer and wine).

To keep you in the holiday spirit, you’ll be treated to two original theatrical productions: a one-act play – “A Modern Day Mr. Scrooge,” written by Maggie Gouldin - and a delightful musical skit written by Ginny Holscher, “Where in the World is Rudolph?” that encourages sing-along audience participation. Both productions are being directed by Judy Landis.

Santa photos, a raffle, 50/50 drawing and a silent auction are also part of the fun. Please note this is an adult party.

This event is truly a community effort thanks to generous donations from Gulfport businesses and individuals. The Players are giving all proceeds to Operation Santa, the Gulfport Community Police effort that for 23 years has been helping local kids in need have a Merry Christmas.
