How to Register to Vote in Gulfport

In honor of National Voter Registration Day, we're giving you all the information you need on how and where to register to vote.

If you haven’t yet registered to vote, get it off your to-do list now.

Today is National Voter Registration Day, and thousands of local, state and national organizations have mobilized to make sure millions of people don’t miss the chance to cast their vote in this year’s elections.

Six million people didn’t vote in the 2008 elections because they either did not know how to register or because they missed the voter registration deadline.

The voter registration deadline for Florida is Tuesday, Oct. 9.

Here’s information on how you can register in time for the Nov. 6 elections:

  • Fill out a voter registration form in person at one of three Supervisor of Elections offices in Pinellas County. They are located at:
    • Largo: 13001 Starkey Road Largo, FL 33773
    • Clearwater: 315 Court St. Room 117 Clearwater, FL 33756
    • St. Petersburg: 501 1st Ave N. St. Petersburg, FL 3370
  • Download a voter registration form from the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections website and mail it to the Elections Service Center at 13001 Starkey Road Largo, FL 33773.
  • Attend a Voter Registration/Education & Voting System Demonstration in Largo on Wednesday, Sept. 26 or in St. Petersburg on Thursday, Sept. 27. For more information on the locations and times check out this link on the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Office website.
  • Pick up a voter registration form at the Gulfport Public Library and mail it to the Elections Service Center at 13001 Starkey Road Largo, FL 33773.
