Jail Bookings Report: August 1 - August 7
The following people were arrested between August 1and August 7. The information is provided by the Gulfport Police Department and the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
August 1
Suzanne Marie Barrett, 54, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of domestic battery, which is a misdemeanor. Barrett was released from jail on August 2.
Perry Michael Kennedy, 21, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of domestic battery, which is a misdemeanor. Kennedy was released from jail on August 2.

Ian Calvin O'Hara, 39, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on charges of DUI and driving without a valid license, both misdemeanors. O'Hara bailed out on $750 on August 2. O'Hara worked as campaign manager for Avrio Taylor during the spring City Council race. Taylor fell short to Barbara Banno in the March election. O'Hara also worked with Council member Sam Henderson during his first run for a council seat.
August 2

Deshannon M Givens, 25, of St. Petersburg, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of trespassing after a warning, which is a misdemeanor. Givens was released from jail on August 3.
August 3
Amber Jean Campbell, 29, of St. Pete Beach, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of grand theft, a felony. Bail is set at $2,000.
Mark M. Reynolds, 52, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charges of sleeping in public and open container, both misdemeanors. Reynolds was released on August 4.
Horace L. Ward, 25, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of driving without a valid license, a misdemeanor.
August 4
Steve Arlet, 31, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of trespassing after a warning, a misdemeanor. Arlet bailed out on $250 on August 4.
August 6
John Ernest Balogh, 21, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of grand theft and two charges of dealing in stolen property. All three charges are felonies. Bail is set at $7,000 for all three charges.
Alexis Barreiros, 60, of St. Petersburg, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charges of DUI (4th or subsequent offense), Leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and refusal to submit to testing. The charge of DUI is a felony, the other two are misdemeanors. Barreiros bailed out on $5,400 for all three charges.
Barbara Johnston Bittner, 55, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charges of violation of parole in trafficking in hydrocodone, driving without a valid license and DUI. The charge of VOP trafficking in hydrocodone is a felony, the other two are misdemeanors. Bail is set at $1,500 for both misdemeanor charges.
August 7
John Tanner Knox, 23, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charges of violation of injunction/protection from domestic violence and battery domestic, both misdemeanors.
