July 26

Richard Bryan Logan, 19, of St. Petersburg, was arrested by Gulfport police and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Logan was released from jail on 7/26/2011. 

July 27

David A Gorski, 40, of Surnee, IL, was arrested by Gulfport police on the charge of DUI, a misdemeanor. Gorski bailed out on $500 and was released on 7/27/2011. 

James E. Pushies, 42, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport police on a felony charge of domestic battery (felony; prior conviction). Pushies bailed out on $1,500 and was released on 7/29/2011.

Dennis Marshall Schiffler, 22, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport police on a felony FTA (failure to appear) Possession of Carisoprodol and felony Failure to Appear. Bail is set at $50,013.00 for the first charge and $2,000 for the second charge.

July 28

Jesse Cameren Culler, 29, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport police on a misdemeanor charge of petit theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Culler's bail is set at $150 for each charge.

July 29

Jeffrey Scott Curtis, 40, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport police on two misdemeanor charges: Possession of Marijuana and DUI. Curtis was released from jail on 8/1/2011.

July 30

William Howard Byron, 70, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport police on the following charges: Violation of Parole (Felony), Petit Theft (Misdemeanor), Resisting an Officer without violence (Misdemeanor). Bail is set at $150 for petit theft and $250 for resisting an officer without violence.

Michelle Lomeli, 51, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport police on a misdemeanor charge of battery domestic. Lomeli was released from jail on 7/31/2011.

July 31 

Katie Marie Deforest, 20, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport police on a charge of Failure to Appear on a Possession of Marijuana charge. That's a misdemeanor charge. Deforest was released from jail on 8/1/2011.

Darryl J. King, 55, of St. Petersburg, was arrested by Gulfport police on a Failure to Appear charge from another county. 

John Joseph McCormick, 51, of Clearwater, was arrested by Gulfport police on the charge of Possession of Methadone, which is a felony charge. Bail is set at $2,000.

Emily Leeann Whobrey, 20, of St. Petersburg, was arrested by Gulfport police on the following charges: Possession of Marijuana (misdemeanor), Possession of Oxycodone (felony), Possession of Xanax (felony), Possession of Oxycodone (felony), Possession of Methadone (felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (misdemeanor). Bail is set at $8,300 combined for all six charges.
