Man Rescued From Bear Creek

A confused and disoriented 53-year-old man was pulled from Bear Creek about 7:15 this morning. The man has been treated and transported to the Palms of Pasadena Hospital and is in stable condition.

St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue responded to a water rescue call behind the Pasadena Baptist Church. Once on scene, officials found the man in 3 to 4 feet of water. Acting Lt. Sean Thornton called in the Technical Rescue Team to help with the rescue. Team members used a special vest, ropes and ladders to complete the rescue.
