'Mr. Gulfport' Receives New Beach Cruiser from Regions Bank
Jimmy Oswain is a common face in Gulfport and a regular customer at the Regions Bank on Gulfport Blvd. That's why the man known as "Mr. Gulfport" to many received a brand new bicycle as a token of appreciation.
"Mr. Gulfport" was all smiles at a surprise presentation at the Regions Bank on Gulfport Blvd. on Wednesday.
The Gulfport Regions Bank Team presented Jimmy Oswain with a brand new bright green beach cruiser on Wednesday, August 17, 2011.
When asked if he liked the new bike he quickly replied, "Yes I do!"

Oswain was recognized as an example citizen who's been dedicated to Gulfport and the community for more than 15 years. "He's well known and so is his family," Branch Manager Brian Atkins said.
The team's gift to Oswain demonstrates the business's core values: Do what is right, put people first, reach higher, focus on your customer and enjoy life.

South Pinellas Bicycles donated time and work for the assembly of the bike. The bicycle is valued at $150.
