Oak Tree Falls on Gulfport Home
No one was hurt when a giant oak tree fell on top of a home near 52nd St. S. and 19th Ave S., according to a report by Bay News 9.
Gulfport homeowner Bonnie Luthin told a Bay News 9 reporter that the sound of the Oak tree landing on her roof was like two cars colliding.
According to the Bay News 9 report, around 10 p.m. Tuesday July 12, 2011, the tree toppled on top of the home. It's about 60 to 70 feel tall and has several heavy branches.
No one was hurt when the tree fell and the cost of the damage isn't known yet.

You can see from the photos that the tree and branches covered two homes, two front yards and a vehicle parked in the drive-way.
