Photo Gallery: Gulfport Police Department Open House
As part of National Night Out the Gulfport Police Department invited the public to see what goes on behind the scenes. Several Gulfport residents came out for an open house and tour of the station Tuesday night.
More than two dozen people came out to chat with Gulfport Police Chief Robert Vincent and several officers at the Gulfport Police Department's Open House on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
The public met with members of the Gulfport Explorers Post 995, got to see squad cars and the department's boat up close. They also received a personal tour of the station, including the interrogation rooms, communications center and jail cells.
