Rescue: Limbo Chihuahuas - Chihuahua Rescue

Almond is a playful and energetic redhead Chihuahua. Almond is 1 1/2 years old and weighs about 7 pounds. She gets along with and runs with her foster playmates and loves her toys and chews.

While Almond is playful, she also likes to snuggle and cuddle on your lap and near to your seat. Despite her ability to run "like a bullit" and "jump like a deer", she is small and fragile. Very young children are not for her.

Almond would be good with older children and adults, especially adults that like to walk. Almond is just getting used to the halter and leash but practice will make perfect.

Almond is housebroken. She uses indoor potty pads as many Chihuahuas we get in rescue are trained to do so or are used to potty pads. She does use the "outside" potty as well. Remember, she is still a puppy and likes to chew. She does fine if given appropriate things to chew.

Almond was just spayed and is up to date on her vaccines. She is heartworm negative and is on prevention. Almond is microchipped. Currently, Almond takes a antibiotic due to her loss of fur. Almond was attained from a high kill shelter with her brother (who has been adopted) and she was not taken care of very well in her previous home. Almond is happy to be in a safe environment now and is looking forward to finding her forever home!
