Tesse is an 8-year-old mini poodle ready for a forever home.
Tesse was found in a ditch near a creek. She was badly injured with puncture wounds, de-hydrated and past caring if she ate or not. It was a miracle that she was found. Her body was covered in dead leaves and her wounds were infested with insects. Further injuries to the eyes made her life expectancy that more questionable.

Tesse has survived though through the dedicated work of her original veternarian care staff and the volunteer staff of her Rescue. Tesse was also given a spa day with Mary and her Reef Dog staff right here in Gulfport.
Although Tesse is now blind, she is a happy pup and will continue to progress to good health. She is living in foster care in Clearwater. Tesse is up to date on all her shots and spayed. She is Heartworm negative and on prevention. Tesse has had extensive medical care due to her abuse and her foster mom can detail this to any new family.
Tesse would love a forever home and will do well with adults and possibly older children who would be sensitive to her disability.
