Rescue of the Week: Briny

Name: Briny

Age: 1 - 3 years old

Weight: 6 - 7 pounds

Rescue: Limbo Chihuahuas - Chihuahua Rescue

Meet Briny, an adorable, female Applehead Chihuahua. Briny is a rarity in her breed as she is a true brindle, what some call a Calico Chihuahua. Briny is about 1-3 years of age. She weighs about 6-7 pounds. Briny is a little chunky around the middle but would love to walk with you to lose those ounces.

Briny is very playful and gets along with other small dogs. Like a true Chihuahua, she is protective of her person but affectionate and loves to give kisses. One of Briny's favorite positions is on the lap or right beside her foster mom, all 'cuddled' in. Briny would be terrific with adults and older children.

Briny is from a high kill shelter. She was believed to be a breeding girl. Briny was just spayed and is up to date on all of her vaccines and is HW negative. She is now on HW prevention. Briny is also microchipped. She is housebroken but does use potty pads.
