Video: Salty's Offers Fun, Friendly, Beach Atmosphere with Bay Views

Gulfport's newest waterfront bar underwent major renovations to offer a beach themed neighborhood bar inside and out!

Walk into Salty's Gulfport at 5413 Shore Boulevard and get whisked away to the beach. With a tiki bar in the patio and a boat named "Pipe Dream II" in the bar, it's the ideal spot to kick back with a frozen beverage and enjoy the views of Boca Ciega Bay.

The owners of Salty's Gulfport bought Gulfport On The Rocks in early February and kicked off renovations right away. In just 17 days, co-owner Fred Metzler says they turned the bar into Salty's.

Not content with just opening up shop, co-owner Fred Metzler and his crew have been working tirelessly to get everything improved and to create a new feel for the bar.

Live music lovers will be happy to hear that the music that Gulfport On the Rocks was famous for will still be going on.

The new owners welcome furry friends, on leash, in their new completely redone outside patio.

Salty's Gulfport is open Mon - Thu 11 a.m. - 12 a.m., Fri - Sat, 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. and Sundays 11 - 11.
