The City of
Gulfport’s Recreation Division has set the 2013 Spooktakular Halloween Bash for
Thursday, October 31st at the Recreation Center. The Center will
open its doors at 7 p.m. for carnival games, a bigger and better frightful haunted
house, a costume contest, concessions, music and a “Boo Room for Tots”. The Haunted
Snack Shack will sell pizza slices for a $1, “potion” for 50¢ and popcorn for 50¢.
The Costume Contest will begin at 8:00 p.m. Winners will be chosen from eight
age categories: 0-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-17 and Family. There will be
three awards given in each age category. The fun ends at 9 p.m. Plan to be there, as we are “dying” to see
you!
