Surveillance Video Released in Papa John's Robbery

ST. PETERSBURG - According to the St. Petersburg Police Department a black male walked into the Papa John's Pizza, 5000 34th St. S., on Monday May 9, 2011, around 1:45 p.m.

The man showed a silver handgun, grabbed the female clerk and demanded cash. The clerk gave the man cash from the register and was forced to get under a desk in the back of the office by the suspect.

He was last seen leaving the store crossing 34th St. South headed west. Witnesses did not see a vehicle involved.

Police are looking for a dark skinned black male about 30 to 40 years old, 5'10-6'0 tall and about 170 pounds wearing a camouflage color ball cap, brownish green shirt with a design on the back and dark pants and white shoes.
