The Books Sold Out!

Isabella was spectacular, greeting, conversing, and signing like a pro. She was graceful and poised, answered questions flawlessly, and engaged with eye contact and smiles. I thought she was ten because it had been nearly a year since she attended the Writing Workshops, but I was mistaken. She hasn't turned ten yet. How unbelievable is that?

Thank you everyone who stopped by to meet this young author and introduce yourselves. It was a fabulous evening. Our community turned out in number to celebrate, praise, and encourage. We started with 34 copies of Barracuda's Curse, the award winning title and at 8pm the last copy was sold. It was a constant flow of people the entire night.

Domain laid out a gorgeous table of finger foods, wine, and non alcoholic punch. Mike, Mike, and Daniel were wonderful hosts. We couldn't have asked for a better showing. Her parents were beaming. Her patrons were enchanted, and her brother, competing for this year's Writer's Award, was quite the promoter. Every detail of the evening was perfect.

We started with delicious snacks and beverages at Tangelo's, where we discussed each of the winners' up-and-coming presentations as Junior presenters at this year's 2013 Gulfport Youth Book Writing Workshops and Contest, then Isabella walked over to Domain where it was non stop people-flow until the rains came

What a wonderful evening this was.
