Update: Reward Increased to $100,000
Police Chief Chuck Harmon said the reward for the identification and arrest of the person or persons who shot and killed an officer Monday night.
ST. PETERSBURG - St. Petersburg Police Chief Chuck Harmon announced at a press conference this afternoon that the reward for a suspect of Officer David Crawford has been increased from $50,000 to $100,000.
The FBI alone has contributed $50,000 and other agencies, who have yet to be identified, have contributed an additional $50,000.

Officer David S. Crawford, a 25-year veteran of the St. Petersburg Police force was shot multiple times and killed Monday night while trying to apprehend a suspected burglar.
Crawford leaves behind a wife and 24 year old daughter.
