Yummy's Wins Readers' Choice Award

Let's hear it for Yummy's!

The Gulfport restaurant, specializing in Chicago-style hot dogs, nailed this week's Readers' Choice award on Patch. The category was best restaurant for kids.

Yummy's racked up the votes, taking 53 percent of the vote. The Village Pub followed with 25 percent.

We also heard from many readers, who extolled the virtues of Gulfport's thriving restaurant industry. With so many to choose from, it's hard to say which one is No. 1.

That is one of the reasons why Patch plans to continue weekly contests, with a range of categories. Everyone is sure to be a winner!
