• Crews put out house fire in Hallandale Beach; no injuries (wsvn.com) — Fire crews responded late Monday morning to a house fire on the 600 block of Northwest Ninth Court in Hallandale Beach, where everyone inside escaped safely. Flames caused heavy damage to the front and west sides of the home as firefighters knocked out windows and removed burning debris while investigators now work to determine the cause.
   

• Woman accused of drugging man she met at Gulfstream Park to steal $98K Rolex, cops say (nbcmiami.com) — A Hallandale Beach visitor who met a woman at Gulfstream Park's Carousel Club later reported being drugged and having his $98,400 Rolex stolen from his home. Police say the suspect, now arrested and out on bond, is also linked to several similar luxury-watch theft cases across South Florida.
