• 18-year-old motorcyclist dies in collision on US 98 in Highland City (coralspringsflnews.com) — A fatal motorcycle crash on U.S. 98 South at Hancock Avenue in Highland City killed an 18-year-old rider Friday afternoon, and Polk County deputies are still investigating what happened. Authorities say the northbound motorcycle struck a Mitsubishi entering the highway, and the driver died at the scene despite life-saving efforts, while the car's driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
