• Council makes changes, approvals ahead of new fiscal year (palatkadailynews.com) — Interlachen residents have several new town decisions to know about, including renewed contracts for the town attorney, code enforcement magistrate, and water plant operator ahead of the new fiscal year starting Oct. 1. The council also approved making Interlachen Junior-Senior High's homecoming parade a permanent town event and plans to host a free veteran-support workshop from The Fire Watch.
   

• Auxiliary members host flea market to benefit town Free Access (palatkadailynews.com) — Interlachen's American Legion Auxiliary is quietly funding local needs, from wreaths on veterans' graves in town cemeteries to scholarships and school supplies for Interlachen students. Their twice-yearly flea markets and a Christmas Bazaar planned for Nov. 28 draw residents, town officials, and small business owners together to raise money that stays in the community.
   

• Friday-Monday prep roundup: Guessford wins first matchup with Wigham (palatkadailynews.com) — Interlachen sports fans can celebrate senior runner Paislee Guessford, who led Interlachen Junior-Senior High at the Bobcat Invitational in Gainesville and topped former teammate Agatha Wigham. The roundup also details how Interlachen's cross country and volleyball teams fared against regional opponents, alongside results for nearby Palatka, Crescent City, and Peniel Baptist squads.
