WINTER HAVEN, FL — The Polk County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation into a single boat crash that occurred sometime Saturday morning on the north side of Lake Eloise in unincorporated Winter Haven.
The sheriff's office received a call around 6:50 a.m. after a boat crashed into a cypress tree in the lake and killed one person.
