15-Year-Old Boy Shot In Lake Wales, Police Search For Suspects
A 15-year-old shooting victim was airlifted to a hospital, and police are searching for the two suspects they believe shot the boy.

LAKE WALES, FL —A 15-year-old boy was shot in the Hampstead Place area on Tuesday, and police are searching for the suspects, a news release said.
Polk County Sheriff's Office said the suspects are believed to be a black male and black female who were in a late 1990s to mid 2000s two-door silver Honda Civic or Accord. The passenger side of the car has damage and the back hubcap on the passenger side is missing.
The car was last seen driving at a high rate of speed northbound on 1st Street South in Lake Wales after the shooting took place at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim was airlifted to a hospital and is reported in stable condition. The victim's name will not be released because of Marsy's Law.
