197 Homes In A Lakeland Neighborhood Without Water For Hours

A water main break occurred in a Lakeland neighborhood that has resulted in residents having no access to water for hours while repaired.

LAKELAND, FL — A major water main break occurred Wednesday evening in the Lakeland area that is affecting 197 homes, Polk County Utilities said.

At 5:15 p.m., a water main break occurred in the Stoll Manor neighborhood, near Walt Williams Road.

Officials said the water will be turned off for several hours while the break is repaired.
