28-Year-Old Wahneta Man Accused By Police For Multiple Thefts

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding a suspect who is accused of theft by police, deputies said.

WAHNETA, FL — Deputies are seeking the public's help locating a 28-year-old Wahneta man who police have multiple warrants for, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

Officers responded to a family disturbance call that involved suspect Bernardo Aparicio on 10th Street in Wahneta on Thursday, detectives said.

Authorities said Aparicio left before law enforcement officials arrived.

Investigators discovered stolen merchandise at the RV trailer where he lives, and the RV was also stolen, deputies said.

Police said they found five stolen lawn-style trailers and a stolen chainsaw.

Detectives said Aparicio is a Hispanic man who is 5-feet-10.

The warrants police have for him are grand theft, tampering with evidence and petit theft.
