Richard Segalman: Monotypes

Painting A Nation: Hudson River School Landscapes

The Coast of Genoa by Francis Cropsey

Through May 20

Jasper F. Cropsey is a second generation Hudson River School painter. This painting is on exhibit courtesy of the Smithsonian American Art Museum to accompany “Painting A Nation.” www.PolkMuseumOfArt.org/cropsey

Masters of Spain: Goya and Picasso

Through June 17

A rare showcase of work by two of the greatest Spanish painters of all time. This exhibition presents side-by-side the two artists who defined Spanish-made art for nearly 200 years. www.PolkMuseumOfArt.org/masters18

STUDENT EXHIBITIONS

Creative Youth

Through April 15

2018 marks the 37th year that members of the U.S. House of Representatives have recognized the creative spirit of American high school students with a national art competition. The Polk Museum of Art conducts the competition and mounts the exhibition for the 15th Congressional District including parts of Polk, Lake and Hillsborough counties.
