Bartow Man Arrested For Arranging To Have Sex With 15-Year-Old

BARTOW, FL – A Walt Disney World bus driver has been arrested for arranging to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Kevin Orman, 35, was arrested March 25 at his home in Bartow.

He has been charged with attempted lewd battery, traveling to meet a minor and using a computer to solicit a child.

The person Orman was planning to meet, however, wasn’t really a 15-year-old girl. It was an undercover detective.

According to the sheriff’s office, Van Orman responded to a post on the app Whisper from a detective pretending to be a teen girl.

The conversation became sexually explicit and, eventually, Van Orman suggested they meet at Disney World.

The sheriff’s office said Van Orman was also chatting with another undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old girl. Those conversation also became sexually explicit, according to detectives.

During an interview with detectives, Van Orman admitted that he’s attracted to teen girls and said he thinks he has a sex addiction.
