Bartow Police Search For Man Accused Of Armed Robbery
The Bartow Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of robbing a 64-year-old Bartow man at gunpoint.

BARTOW, FL – The Bartow Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of robbing a 64-year-old Bartow man at gunpoint.
Calvin Garrison told Bartow Police that on Feb. 5, an acquaintance, Jania Seawell, and a man he didn’t know approached him while he was sitting in his parked car at 295 U.S. 17 S.
Garrison reported that the stranger grabbed him by his shirt, pointed a semi-automatic handgun at his face and demanded money.

During their investigation, detectives discovered that Seawell and a friend, Jamesia Smith, told Isham Alexander, 20, of Fort Meade, that Garrison routinely carried around a large amount of cash. The two women arranged to meet Garrison so Alexander could rob him.
Seawell and Smith were both arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery and armed burglary with an assault.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Alexander, who remains at large. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Alexander is asked to contact Detective Jason Griffith at (863) 534-5034.
