Driver Charged After Crashing Into Florida Trooper: Report
The trooper was traveling to a minor crash before being hit near the US-98 and Florida Avenue intersection, a media report says.
POLK COUNTY, FLA — A 20-year-old man is accused of running a red light and crashing into a Florida Highway Patrol trooper's car Monday near the US-98 and Florida Avenue intersection, WFLA reported.
The outlet reported Jesus Eduardo Cano Zamora was charged on suspicion of driving under the influence, having open alcohol containers in the car and running a red light.
The trooper was traveling to a minor crash before being hit, the outlet reported.
