Driver Injured After Crashing Into Lakeland Waffle House: Reports
The 65-year-old driver suffered minor injuries after the Florida Avenue crash, media reports say.

LAKELAND — A 65-year-old man who was accused of driving his Nissan SUV into a Florida Avenue Waffle House around 1 a.m. Monday was injured, both News Channel 8 and Fox 13 Tampa Bay reported.
It is unknown what led to the crash, but the driver suffered minor injuries, per the media reports.
Photos shared by the outlets show damage to the front exterior of the Waffle House, with glass shattered to the ground. Caution tape surrounded the entrance Monday morning.
