Fingerprinting Services At Polk County Sheriff's Office Resume
The Polk County Sheriff's Office announced its upcoming date to begin fingerprinting services with strict coronavirus guidelines.
WINTER HAVEN, FL — Fingerprinting services will resume at the Polk County Sheriff's Office starting Monday with coronavirus related restrictions, the sheriff said.
Here are the guidelines for fingerprinting services, according to authorities:
- Fingerprinting services will only apply to Polk County residents until further notice.
- Both the PCSO member assigned to the fingerprinting duties and the person being fingerprinted must wear a mask. The PCSO member doing the fingerprinting will able be wearing gloves. Paper masks for the person being fingerprinted will be provided by PCSO if you do not have one.
- Those requesting fingerprints will be asked if they presently have coronavirus or any symptoms that include fever, shortness of breath and/or persistent cough. If they do, fingerprinting services will be scheduled for some time after the duration of those symptoms.
