FL Man Arrested For Storming U.S. Capitol On Jan. 6: U.S. DOJ
A Lakeland man was arrested on charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol building, U.S. Department of Justice said.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — A Lakeland man was arrested on charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol building during the electoral vote count for the 2020 presidential election, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release.
Thomas Paul Osborne, 40, was charged on an indictment filed in the District of Columbia with civil disorder, a felony, as well as misdemeanor offenses, including entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building or grounds.
Osborne was arrested Thursday in Lakeland and made his initial appearance in the Middle District of Florida, the DOJ said.
