Free Coronavirus Testing Scheduled For Polk County Residents
The Polk County coronavirus testing site is open to the public and for anyone who wants to be tested. Appointments are not required.
BARTOW, FL — Polk County residents can take advantage of free coronavirus testing because of a partnership amongst the Florida Department of Health, the city of Bartow and the African American Chamber of Commerce of Polk County.
Tests will be offered on May 30 at Carver Recreation Center, 520 Idlewood Ave. S. Testing is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
The testing is open to the public and for anyone who wants to be tested for coronavirus. They do not require appointments. The event could be cancelled in case of bad weather.
